God gives me something of which to smile. emoticon
I've not been feeling well the past few days. And, I've been under my calorie counts but haven't lost anything. I had a bad day a couple days ago with what I ate. So I've been sort of bummed. And then I walk outside to feed the cats and in looking up, I see those pretty little flowers amidst the frozen soil and snow.

It's a sign, I think to myself. Then I think, a sign of what? emoticon
Oh, I know it's a sign of encouragement. Pansies aren't supposed to be blooming now but these are. In the miracle that is God, He's shown me that the improbable is probable. So, I take these blooms in January as my encouragement to keep one foot in front of the other. Keep tracking my food and my exercise. Stay strong and motivated. While my plan may take a little longer than I want, He reminded me He's walking right beside me and will give me the encouragement I need...if I will only look up.

So, my hope for you all today is that you will find something that is extraordinary emoticon , that completely takes you by surprise, that makes you say WOW! and think of it as your sign of encouragement.

That's what seeing this little pansy blooming amidst frozen soil and a frozen coating of snow gave me....Encouragement emoticon

That is beautiful!! I got all excited over a robin in my front yard the other day. To me it always means spring is on its way and I always feel better during the spring/summer months!!
