Bad Habits?

I found that I have bad habits. By bad habits, I don't necessarily mean that the habits that I currently have are bad (although many are). I found that I have a problem with my habits, especially new ones that I form in my weight loss journey. Last year, I started going to the gym 3-5 times per week for 30 minutes of cardio on an elliptical. I formed this habit, and kept it for most of the year. Usually, they say it takes about 6 weeks to create a habit that will stick, that after 6 weeks the behavior will be a habit, and one that you will be able to consistently stick with. I did great with my gym habit, until one week late in the year, I missed some days. I missed a whole week, in fact, around in September. And that was it. that was the end of my good habit that I spent all that time forming. Just that quick, my good habit was gone, much easier than it came. I've been to the gym once since. I guess that know that I know how to turn a good behavior into a good habit, I need to know how to make that good habit stick as well as the bad ones do. I need my good habits to be as good at sticking as my bad habits. But how does one do that? I'm not sure, but I guess I'll just have to keep trying until I figure it out.
