Today is day 21 of my current streak! (Previous streaks; 290 days and 13 days.)

This morning after my healthy breakfast (steel cut oats, poached egg, 2 clementines and some green tea) I went grocery shopping because we were out of everything! There are 3 different grocery stores in the same general area, so I went to all three in order to take advantage of sales so that I could get the best prices on everything. I stocked up on so much, we almost didn't have room for it all, lol.

As I was walking through the grocery stores, I was just marveling at how easy it is for me to walk! This time last year, walking was so painful for me because of my weight. I would have to park super close to the store, and then lean on the shopping cart as I limped up and down the aisles. I would have never gone to THREE different stores in one day....it would have worn me out completely! But now that I've lost over 71 lbs, things have changed. I no longer park as close to the store as possible...instead, I actually challenge myself to park as FAR from the store as I can! I don't lean on the shopping cart anymore, and I don't limp. I actually walk with a bounce in my step! I'm so happy that I can move so freely, and I think it shows!

This time last year, I wore a size 3X Sparkpeople t shirt. Now, I wear a size L. I have kept that size 3X shirt, and today I thought it would be fun to take a before and after picture....of my shirts, lol. So I laid my red size 3X Spark shirt on the floor, and then put my green size L Spark shirt on top. The difference astounded me! It actually brought tears to my eyes. I look at the difference in the two shirts...at how much bigger the red one is...and I am so proud and amazed that I went from being that size to the size I am now. Its almost hard to believe that the red shirt really did use to fit me!

I have a size M Sparkpeople t shirt hanging in the back of my closet...and by Spring (which is 60 days away) I hope to be able to post a picture of myself wearing it!
