Ephesians 1:17-20
New International Version (NIV)
"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms"

"I keep asking..." Do I keep asking? No, not really. I am very forgetful! Okay. So I need to remind myself. I'll write this verse down and post it in key places all over the house so I will remember to keep asking God for wisdom and revelation so I may know Him better.

"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened..." The same power that raised Jesus Christ from the grave is alive in me and I can have that same strength to help me avoid temptation.

Interestingly, the verse for the day in is: “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV

God is with me. I just have to remember that!

I don't know how many times I have felt like I was the only one going through something, what ever at the time. And then as soon as I open up and start sharing with people and becoming transparent in my relationships with people I find out it was that old devil tricking me into thinking I was the only one going through something at that time.

No, everyone goes through the same stuff but at different times but then again more often then not, it is at the same time they are going through the same thing.

We are here to encourage and inspire one another and to share and to be transparent with each other.

We are all human in need of Jesus.
