So, I joined biggest loser comp. at work a few days ago. Weighed in on Wed. Was suprised that in 6 months at this sitdown job i have gained 15 pounds. WOW! According to my calculations I can be at my gaol weight by summer if I try hard. So far the last 2 days have been good. I passed up buying woppers, i passed up chocalte cake too - not been too bad. I am sure though that the longer i go the more cravings I will have. Oh, and I also have not had any soda. usually have ast least 1 bottle per day sometimes more - that is 1400 calories i was drinking that i wont be anymore. that has got to help weight loss some right? We will see.

    Thank you for the well wishes. That is encouraging words. Just went out shopping for things to make salads for lunches. adding tuna or chicken for protein. The last 2 days my real problem the last 2 days has been to eat enough calories and carbs. I have been falling short and have to force another "meal" in. I have made it, but who would have thought eat more lose weight? eating dinner tonight and still have to find about 120 more calories to hit minimum mark - I rarely eat anything after dinner.

    The cravings will be there to start but they'll go away as you start better habits with food. Good luck in your competition!

    Hi and yes the lack of soda will help! I drank diet pepsi decafinated everyday a lot of it, when I quit in 2 weeks I lost 10 pounds and that was diet soda! Good luck on your journey!
