The process - UGH

Friday, January 18, 2013

The truth is I am over 200 again. For 6th time but whose counting right? I am still doing what I am supposed to. I exercise every single morning before I do anything else (19 day streak). I track, weigh and measure all my food. I have to keep doing the work because quitting is not an option. I am not derailed like the 5x before just annoyed. The bottom line is fluctuations in weight are a normal part of the process but that does not mean I have to like it.

I'm with you girl. A couple weeks ago, I thought the scale would have gone down because of the amount of exercise I did and that I did not eat 'as usual'. Scale went up and my mood went down. I then put it in the positive and said it'll show up next week. The next week I did lose or gain. But I continue to exercise and now I am trying to see where I can make adjustments in my food plan. I am starting with my snacking and see if I can reduce calories there and I am trying to get closer to my calorie range. Although I was down, I decided that I would continue to fight to lose but not lose the fight.

It is frustrating, I agree!! Maybe stay off the scale for awhile and judge your success by what you are changing and accomplishing instead. That's what works for me. I know if I am doing what I should be or not.
