Not to shabby

It is January 18th, half way through the first month of the year and I am keeping to my goals for health and fitness so far.

Every morning, especially on day that I don't feel so well, I get up early to do much needed stretches. Every otherday I add some strengthening exercises. I pack my lunch everyday so I can be sure that I always have a healthy snack and lunch.

I almost go into the trap of buying sodas from the vending machine, but quickly nipped that in the bud by keeping waters in my trunk. This way I always have access to water. The school I am in does not have a fresh water fountain, or a water cooler. This was a first for me so I just had to start bringing my own.

Another good note is that I woke up this morning to way myself and found that I had been too busy to notice that I was losing more weight, despite the soda mishap. I now weigh an amazing 156 pounds. This means that I am only 10lbs away from my ultimate goal.

Despite all of the stress that I have going on with classes and student teaching, All of my kids are sick right now (One was even admitted to the hospital over night) Despite the fact that my house is a clutter disaster I feel like super woman.

The kids are starting to feel better, I have made it to all my classes, I attend my school everyday, I pay close atention to what I eat and stretch everymorning, I at least do laundry, wash dishes and clean the toilets. So even though I can't find the dinning room table and have to make a path to get to my bedroom (The playroom is an open room between the stairs and my room) I feel like I am acomplishing major feets here.

The house can wait, it isn't goin anywhere. I have to remind myself that I am acomplishing so much, a clean house is important but sadly it is last on the list.

Overall I feel great!!

    my sister lost 105 pounds at age 63 walking 15000 steps a day.

    i have lost 44 pounds by giving up grain and sugar products at age 60..

    i walk 15000 steps a day.

    i use a salad plate as my dinner plate.

    i keep mandrtan oranges in the fridge. when the sweet tooth comes on i grab one or two tablespoons of the fruit.
