I know!! When our power goes out for a few minutes my kids, well the oldest, doesn't know what to do with himself and starts bugging me and his sister. She and I can find something to do even if it's out for hours, but not him, he is totally lost.
    Hope your day was awesome!

We do tend to take our Blessings for granted.
Ever wonder if we really need all of the gadgets & gizmos that we use? What happened to being with people?
    Talking with people?
    Working with people?

Yes thank the LORD for indoor plumbing, and washers and dryers, my mom grew up with a washboard then a ringer washer to which i always had to fill for her before school!

With God we can live like the past if we have to In the years I was around I used the ringer washer In bad tines I made the food dollar stench Had much hardship and The peace that only God can give With him I got strength I did not now I had .I probably am close or older then your Mom

Although I agree with you on the things that make things faster, sometimes I wish we lived in the simpler times, less stress and hassle
