Day 16 - Going strong

I have effectively kept up my exercise routine for more than 2 weeks! I have surpassed both my minute and mileage goals for the month - already! emoticon

My weight has been up and down... my eating too. But I have run every other day (except one where I was too sick to move... then I ran the next day) for a total of 7 days... and I have logged over 35 miles (new record for me). My cross training hasn't been as consistent, but I have gone for break walks at least 4 days and I have done cross training of some sort 3 times so far. Not too bad for 16 days.

The rest of my life? Well, that's about to get pretty hectic, but I am determined to keep up my running streak - even if it is only 30 minutes a day instead of 60. DH leaves town for 2 weeks on Saturday... and, in addition to school, work, and normal life, I have an overnight trip in that time-frame and have my son's birthday party to plan as it will be the day DH gets home! Like I said - hectic.

I'm working on my mind-set for the next two weeks - going to apply my "I can do anything for 10-15 minutes" running mentality to each day. I can do anything for 2 weeks! emoticon

    Great job on the exercise! It always feels so awesome to look back and be like... yeah, I did that. BAM.

    Sounds like things are gonna get crazy, good luck keeping things under control! And great attitude, to go with it!
