The result

So, we had our tests.
While I only react a bit to fructose, our daughter had some pretty high results and is now officially a fructosemalabsober.

Next 2 weeks we have to eat pretty "clean".
Which means:
- no sugar
- no honey/jam
- no fruits (except 1/2 banana, avocado, lemon)
- no legume
- no dried fruits
- no ketchup and tomato mark
- no sweety (ohhh dear)
- no oats,, wholemeal, onions, garlic, no salad (except spinach)
only very light vegetables, unsweeted diary products, meat, white bread, white rice, white noodles.

It would not be a big problem. At home.
But we will visit my parents in law. And they tend to ignore every health problem we have. My husband just phoned them and well - I KNOW it - they will cook some stuff WE can not eat. So ... hey, it might be not polite, but I will pack some extra cornflakes and yoghurt and a light pasta sauce just in case.

it will be not very amusing ...

Thanks for all of your cheering comments - I know now my mother in law cook her famous (and pretty tasty!) spaghetti bolognes. But as she put in half a bottle of ketchup (which is a no no) - I prepare.

I was Vegan for a few months and I took all my food to mum's when we went there for the weekend. I also made sure that I took some stuff that I knew that I could eat to my aunt's at Xmas just to make sure, and it was a good job that I did, otherwise I'd have had just salad to eat.

I know the feeling. Both my mother and mil take it very badly if every morsel of my piled high plates of food is not eaten!!!

You are right to go prepared!
