Tracking day 5

My daughter was feeling bad this morning and now feeling a little better, she stayed home from school since she got sick. We both enjoyed our mother daughter time. We got to talk for a while, watched a few shows, I taught her how to play the card game Rook. She caught on pretty fast. Then we played a game of scrabble, She beat me, she really loved that. I think she is keeping the paper we wrote our scores on. lol

7am Breakfast; Protein bar (cliff builders)
20 g. protein 30 Carbs (20 of those was sugar)
I don't know what to do about these, Dr recommends them every day I exercise.

10 am Snack; 2 oz colby jack cheese and tsp of mustard
8 g protein

12:15 pm Lunch; Roast beef 3 oz
22 g protein

5:30Dinner Roasted Turkey Breast 4 oz Pepper jack cheese
30 g Protein.

My herbal tea
Did kind of bad on water, only got 40 oz. of water, I wasn't thirsty at all today.

    Great tracking. Does he want you to have a high protein bar or is he interested in upping your carbs. I like the Pure Protein bars, I ofund them about a year ago. Don't recall the nurition info but you could ask the doctor waht he thinks is best!

    Glad you had a good day with DD and hope she is feeling 100% soon! I'm sure Momma's love will sustain her.

    About the protein bars, if they cause you to be hungry and/or crave a few hours after eating, I would stop eating them because they are a trigger food for you. Do you know why your doctor insists you have them? Talk to him and ask about an alternative protein.

    Suggestion: I always take my liquid vitamins with 1 cup of Almond Milk and protein powder every day and that helps keep me in my Protein range. I'm all about killing 2 birds with one stone.... ouch!

    As you get tighter, you will be eating less and it is going to be a real balancing act to get all your nutrients in. Tracking is the way to figure it out. You are doing great and on the right track. It just takes time.

    Great job Bonnie!
    Try looking for protien bars with less sugar in them if you can.
    Costco has a Prmier Protein shake that is really good. I will add the informtion for you.
    I found these Premier Protien bars at Costco they are a little better than yours.

    emoticon I miss those days when my son's were young! They are both in their 30's (not married, and no children) and out on their own. Enjoy this time! I still enjoy my son's when I can, but I loved it when they were small and needed me so much more!
