sleep and exercise deprived

I always swore I wouldn't let my kids sleep in my bed. And then I let my daughter sleep with us, and the struggle to get her back into her own bed nearly killed me. Then, I forgot what a struggle it was in the six years between the two of them. So now, I have the exact same problem with my son.

Well, Mommy is very tired, very grumpy and very very very determined to get that kicking 4 year old into his own bed.

Add to that this awful cold snap that is keeping me off of my treadmill (it is in my uninsulated/unheated garage) and you have a recipe for a very out of whack me. I am thrilled to report that it is supposed to get sunny again today and we will be warm at least the next 5 days. We will be headed to the park and to the garage.

Any suggestions on getting that kiddo out of my bed????

I am having the same issue with my 3 year old. My main issue is that is my snuggle time with her because I feel SOOOO guilty that I have to work and don't get to spend a lot of time with her. My game plan: We bought her the Tinkerbell fold out bed. Once she falls asleep I will put her in her new bed on the floor next to me. Then we will move the Tinkerbell bed to her room, and eventually get her back into her own bed. Not sure how it is going to work, but I need to try. Let me know if you come up with something that works better. Good Luck!
