Tackling a lot of things on the home front: some litigation for a class action lawsuit, planning some summer yard things with next door neighbor guy on phone, made tax appointment, sorted through more mail and tossed a huge pile of old receipts and bills, made appointment with my mechanic for oil change tomorrow.

ti seems like I take three steps ahead and four backwards. Phone time cuts into cleaning time, but had to get arrangements made.

This decluttering takes a long time....

Don't feel bad. You are doing something. It may take a while but it will get done. Just take it one day at a time.

I keep trying to chuck out those magazines I really want to read but the pile grows and makes me feel quite inadequate.

I either chuck them or read them, time is of the essence.
So when I get home I resolve to chuck most of them,

    almost all of them.

MAYBE Just save the ones I have not read yet.

I think I must be a pack rat I just cannot let go of recipes and magazines.

Sounds like you have been a busy bee! You've accomplished more today than I do in a week!

    Good luck with the decluttering.

Good on ya! Handling things right up. "It's a good life, if we just don't weaken."

I'm expecting the Alzheimer's to kick in any time now, to help declutter my brain.

It is totally worth it! It just takes time to start it and get in the habit of your organization. Once you got it you got it for life!
