A Good Workout

I worked all weekend and surprisingly, I am not totally exhausted today. I plan to go to the gym in about an hour and get a good workout in! I am starting this journaling process to help myself stay focused and motivated.
This morning I woke up feeling blotted and uncomfortable, the scale is telling me the same thing by showing me a 3lb gain (It’s that time of month)
I want to lose weight but losing weight is not my only goal. A few years ago I lost weight and I was about 130lbs but I was not thrilled about being slim so this time I want to find something that is more gratifying like increasing my energy and endurance and developing a lasting healthy lifestyle. For this reason, I will journal this process.
I went to the gym and got in a good work out in perhaps the idea of journaling is motivating me already. I usually do the elliptical machine when I go to the gym for 30mins and this time I was motivated to do 45mins and I did, it felt good. I then cooled down on the treadmill for 10 mins and road the bike for 10 mins and cooled down again on the treadmill for 5. I felt great afterwards!
