Was a lazy, stuffing my face weekend.

Monday, January 14, 2013

For all the ladies out there, you may know what I am talking about. When it is my T.O.M. no rules apply: I can eat what I want, and usually I am so ill that the only physical activity I can do is plug in my heating pad and get up to take another muscle relaxer.

This was my first “moon” since my conversion to being a vegan. In the past I would stuff my face with macaroni & cheese, pizza, and my famous egg noodles w/ veggie broth and tons of mozzarella cheese and a pint of Cherry Garcia…but none of that for me.

Granted I didn’t eat well, nor did I exercise, but I did stay away from my T.O.M. favorites and stayed committed to my vegan lifestyle.

I did gain some weight this weekend, but I believe it was because of the salt that I ate (lots of salty foods this weekend)…I’m back on track today. My belly isn’t hurting anymore so I did 2.5 miles on the stair master and will be walking this evening with my friend.

If I get home and have enough time before “Antiques Road Show” (yes, I’m a dork), I may throw in some yoga…if not tonight, definitely tomorrow.

Well, good luck to everyone!

Many blessings,

Namaste,

/p.

I so understand you. I have ben on that T.O.M for 2 weeks and finally got some meds to stop it. I have put on like 5lbs of water weight and salt is a girls best friend some times. Either way it is about most of the time not all of the time. So keep up the good work!!!

PS nothing wrong with Antiques road show. If I still had Cable tv I would watch it too. But then again I am a dork.
