Do or Do Not Do

Sunday, January 13, 2013

I am trying to follow this philosophy from Yodo. Less excuses, more results. There is always something else that needs done. Exercising and eating clean feel great when you are doing them. Life tends to creep in and take over your priorities. I make a plan for the week, and then something happens, like today the garage door opener broke. So I will have to schedule time for the installation of a new one. I am determined to be consistent in the pursuit of my goals and not get distracted by the ebb and flow of daily events.

Yay, Yoda! I do love that quote. Yes, it seems like the little things of life are always threatening to take over. Sometimes they do. My strategy has been to think of the waking day as 16 - 17 hours, out of which I can certainly get a minimum of 20 minutes to exercise. I do love my fitbit, because I can see how all of the little bits of exercise I get in on busy days add up.
