My Day: Woke up at 4am to see ice on the deck, screens and trees. No snow. I was really looking forward to seeing a blanket of snow in our back yard.
Even so, as I look out there the birds and squirrels are eating and our cats are watching their every move. That is, when the cats aren¡¦t walking through the two empty bedrooms wondering where the occupants went. Our maine coon is especially lost because the bed she sleeps on during the day and looks out the window, was moved out yesterday. Our oldest cat sleeps in the other bedroom, hoping the owner of the bed will come home and turn the electric blanket on for him. He¡¦ll be waiting until Easter.
All the while, I am designing a corner sewing table and shelves. Choosing a paint color and the room has been measured for carpet. Remember, it¡¦s about looking forward not back. It¡¦s not goodbye, it¡¦s letting go.
Now that I¡¦m closer to my goal weight, I am thinking about how I will maintain it. I am eating in my middle calorie range and planning to re-introduce myself to things like brownies ƒº but in moderation.
I¡¦ve changed my perspective on food. I made a ¡§Lifestyle Change.¡¨ With sweets in front of me, I don¡¦t have the urge to eat it until it¡¦s all gone. A few bites and I push it away¡K. Because I never want to do 200 again!
In a very strange twist of fate, FlyLady Zone 3 is Main Bathroom and another Bedroom, LOL! The rooms my son inhabited that I need to focus on anyway.
It¡¦s Sunday, a day to renew myself. I¡¦m going to take on Fly Lady¡¦s recommendations. I¡¦ve swished and swiped, dressed to shoes, shined my sink, checked my calendar and know what¡¦s for dinner (It¡¦s FlyLadyspeak). I¡¦m going to spend 15 minutes decluttering¡K a cabinet or a drawer, haven¡¦t decided which. I¡¦m going to renew myself by baking some bread and making brownies.
As I complete my blog, I looked outside and it¡¦s started to snow ¡K¡K
