Getting into good habits

Saturday, January 12, 2013

Today I felt awful. Really bloody awful. I had such a bad day at work and was so frustrated all day that I almost burst into tears several times. It wasn't even that horrific, just loads of little niggly things that added up to make me frustrated and upset until I got home. When I got home I started looking into the next essay I had to write, had some food and then a bit later, after putting my aching feet up for a few hours I decided to do some exercise. I decided that 10 minutes would be better than nothing. It might not be enough to shed more weight, but it will add up with the other exercise I had done and make me feel a bit better. Well I'm pleased to say that 10 minutes actually turned into 30 and it gave me a huge mood and energy boost. I feel so much better and am ready to take on whatever tomorrow throws at me. I'm going to go to bed feeling great and hopefully have a decent sleep. Oh and there's even more spring/summer 13 stock arriving at work - there's lots of nautical including some gorgeous blue flat shoes with an anchor on them which HAVE to be bought... good thing I'm going shopping on tuesday with one of my friends!

Good for you! Sometimes, all you need to do on a bad day is do one thing right and it just makes everything okay. I love the spring/summer stuff if already popping up! I'm so ready for summer. Have fun with the flats!
