2 Weeks Flour free

I've made it two weeks with avoiding the white flour and refined carbohydrates. It's been a challenge. Yesterday my husband and I went out for lunch at a local cafe, and ensue me perusing the menu to find options that would work. Settled on a pesto chicken salad, which even though it put me over my calories for the day when all was said and done it was worth it to spend some quality time with him. We hadn't been out for months due to work, school and our kids.
Cabbage rolls were had for supper, and the kids devoured them in a heartbeat.
Overall productive day,

Boyfriend scolded me because I haven't started the kettlebell workouts yet. I explained to him that stitches and workouts generally do not mesh well. I'm itching to start that though, the forced inactivity is starting to annoy me. Spent my day catching up on all the mending that had piled up from Christmas and ripping up old jeans to be made into a scrap quilt.
Today is laundry, bit of house cleaning and then pattern cutting as my Etsy shop reopens on the 15th. I need to get things started so that when the orders do start coming in I don't lose my mind.
Also need to get moving on my artwork commissions. I have a reference sheet to finish for myself, and then post so I can show that as an example to potential customers.

Busy busy busy.

    emoticon but definitely take it slow with the kettlebells even when the stitches are gone.
