End of Week 1

What a week!
This week I was able to stick to it. I walked on the treadmill everyday except Thursday. It is showing. It is amazing how the body adapts quickly. I have lost about 3.5 pounds this week, simply by getting back into the routine. The weight isn't the only benefit I have noticed this week. I have noticed that I have been in a better mood overall.
This week wasn't without it's challenges. In Ontario, the government has imposed a contract on it's public elementary and secondary teachers. We had a political protest planned for yesterday, but at 4am it was ruled illegal. So this has all been up and down. The fight isn't over. As this battle goes on, it will only mean that I have more meetings. Which will make it harder, but not impossible to eat properly.
As for my 101 in 1001 days project. I am making progress on finishing my list. Once it is finished I will be posting my list on my own website and blogging about the progress of it there. The number one goal on the list is to lose 40-50 pounds and another goal is to track my food and exercise using Spark.
C2,5K progress... Today will be the third day of week one. I have noticed though that when I do my regular walking on the treadmill I am burning more calories than I am doing when I am doing the c25k training. I am sure that this will change as I move to more jogging than walking.
Hopefully this coming week will hold.

Sorry for the randomness of this blog post. Just the way that my brain is working at the moment.

All the best
