Wishing well

Friday, January 11, 2013

Some people use the term Bucket list, but I'm thinking of things I want to do while I'm alive, not before I die.
1. Golf
2. Tai chi in the park
3. Surfing
4. Publish a book
5. Pottery and ceramics studio
6. Mission
7. Dancing
8. Motorcycle tour
9. Hawaii
8. 50th anniversary party

I cheated there at the end, saw that my vision vision map is here on the fridge. It also has stuff on it like a gracious and orderly home.

So is there something I can do today that will move me in the direction of my dreams?

These are all "while I'm alive." "Before I die" would be something I would do if I had only six months to live. Like maybe go to Paris.

I was wondering about the timing difference between "while I'm alive" and "before I die."

Great list. I'm sure you can find a pottery class and get signed up fairly quickly.

Do you ride a motorcycle? I took lessons at my local Harley dealership, hardest thing I ever did but three years later, I LOVE it. My husband and I take trips down to the Ozarks every spring(I'm in the Chicago area )

Dancing! The possibilities! Check out your local park district or YMCA for lessons or search for dance studios near you.

Put your mind to it, you will do it. Hope to hear about your progress!

Tai Chi sounds like a skill that you can participate in for life! Find a local beginners Tai Chi class and get moving. When weather turns nice you'll be ready to show off your mad Tai Chi skills in the park!
