Something different

So my mission this year on top of lossing weight and getting healthy is to set a good example for my daughter who is starting to stuggle with her weight as well. So I have tried to include my daughter in my fitness a couple times week so that she does not feel like I am forcing her to exercise she just thinks she is having fun. So I called the local parks and rec building this morning to see how late their indoor pool is open until. I was told until 8:45 p.m. So to make sure I did not change my mind, I invited a friends child to go with us that way the kids get a good 2 hours of play time at the pool. I have already done my 30 minutes of zumba this morning and a toning video so any pool time is just a plus for me today.

Tomorrow is my daughters birthday and she will be 8 years old. I can't believe my baby will be 8. She has the best personality and is a character. Total drama diva queen complete with attitude. ha ha! I think I am going to work on getting their outdoor basketball getup set up outside this weekend. Hopefully the weather will cooperate because I do not want to have to build it indoors. HA HA! I am a cold weather whimp!

I am proud to say after my krispy kreme mishap yesterday I did not go over in my calories as I had a salad for dinner last night. YAHHHH!

My 13 year old son has been having weight issues for a couple years. The school even sent me a letter telling me he was obese as if we didn't already know that. Including the kids is a great idea. I wish we had an indoor pool around here. Keep up the good work!!
