First Day

Today was great! I was kinda able to stick to my diet, at least a lot better that how I normally eat, but I am confident that today will be better. Today was also my first full day without a puff on a cigarette. After being a smoker for the past 5 years, I have "quit" for the past week, but have been sneaking puffs here and there. Don't get me wrong, I want just one puff so bad right now, but I know that I don't need it. Also, today was a big day because I went out for a walk around the bottom, or small field, at my home with my Pit Bull, Lucy dragging me along behind her! :-) She was more excited than I was! My Chihuahua, Teddy, tried to keep up, but after the first lap, he decided that was enough an went back to the house by himself. The best part of the walk was that, on my second / last lap, I was able to jog half of the lap and not have an asthma attack! Woo-hoo!!! Talk about progress! I can't wait until tomorrow! Tomorrows goals: 1. Stick to my diet!, 2. Walk six laps around the bottom (with Lucy dragging me behind her), 3. Clean the house, 4. Maybe some dancing to pep up my mood...
