Second Monday Of The Week

Thursday, January 10, 2013

It's just not right...having what amounts to TWO Monday's in one week. That's the draw back of having a day off in the middle of the week. But I seem to be handling it OK. I'm getting things done at work and that's always a plus! emoticon

Today is Chuck's 60th Birthday. He took 2 days off work this week. It's also the first day, officially, of his retirement from the Air Force. He served 19 yrs and 6 months. I am SO proud of him! He'll be drawing his AF retirement now, not all of it as a certain % has to go to his ex-wife. Sucks...but nothing we can do about it. And when SHE retires...she has to send him that same % from her's. Yeah right...we'll see HOW that works out! But right now Chuck is at home...working on the race car, which he loves to do. My mom called and sang him Happy Birthday. emoticon I'm going to see if you'll want to go to dinner tonight. I'll treat him to a Birthday Dinner. Maybe sushi....he LOVES sushi! Or maybe just a nice steak at one of the casinos. But if not...I'll make him a nice dinner at home.

Eating was right at the top of my calorie range yesterday (see yesterday's blog if you want details). And no real workout yesterday. But today I did my lunch workout and eating is on track. A lot depends on what or where we go for dinner.

I guess that's it for this second Monday of this week. I hope your Thursday was great!
