An oops and a new start.

Well, this low-carb thing has been going pretty well. emoticon Though I miss my Orville Redenbacher Smartpop(24 carbs) and last night I had a little oops. We can eat veggies all we want so I'm always looking for good ways to prepare them. I had some butter nut squash so I looked online for ways to prepare it and found a wonderful recipe with brown sugar emoticon Big mistake as you may have guessed since brown sugar(alone!) has like 54 carbs emoticon it was delicious, but it will be a while before I fix that again. emoticon
Well, today is a new day and I get a fresh start. emoticon The proof will be in the pudding(low fat,of course) when I weigh on Sunday. I'm looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. Does that make sense?
Anyway, one day at a time. Make the most of today! emoticon

    It's funny I have gotten where I used to always make my butternut and acorn squash with brown sugar, now I put nothing. A bit of salt and pepper if even that and it's wonderful. We forget what foods taste like on their own. Try it - you may be surprised.

    I use splenda instead of sugar. Works for me. LOL.
