Detoxing Is More Than A Sacrifice. It's A Necessity!

Thursday, January 10, 2013

So I received my Nutribullet about a week ago and I am about a week into it (week officially begins Sunday). I LOVE IT!!! Please don't get me wrong when it comes to the title of this blog. I absolutely, 100% LOVE my Nutribullet. It's the detoxing part I hate. The headaches, the fatigue, the slowness of my day: I hate it all!

However, it is truly a necessity. Funny thing is that I thought myself to be in better shape toxin-wise when it comes to the detoxing. I truly thought that because I had not experienced symptoms of detoxing, that those symptoms would skip me. Not so as I found out today. After being extremely tired and slow all day, I finally read an article on a website called Gaiam Life. There is talks about living and being healthy. I read about detoxing from white flour, sugar and caffeine in seven days. It listed all the benefits to the detox and even gave the symptoms to look our for in knowing that the detox is happening. I have several of those symptoms. This means my body is finally understanding that it must get rid of the impurities so that it cannot only feel better, but look and respond to things better. Detoxing is truly the way to go! Without it, I would be back at square one faster than any human can blink.

So while I'm going to look like a mess for the next few days, I'm going to relish in the thought that when it's over, I'll be a better person from the inside out and that my husband and daughter will get a better wife and mother. It's just getting to that point takes work and a necessary sacrifice. So a return to work I go!
