Now that the year has turned (and my HSA is replenished), I went to the orthopedist to have my shoulder looked at.
It's been causing me issues for several months - not the least of which has been my waking up with "dead arm" in the middle of the night. Joint weakness, instability, clicking, crunching, popping, burning - you name it, it's been a symptom.
Not sure what is going on, but the doctor popped my ribs back into place (!) so my shoulder blade could move more smoothly. And he tried to tear my head off.
Sore, so very sore. And having immune reactions (whole-body pain, sniffles, coughing, extreme fatigue). No bueno. :(
I do feel better. Pushups went better Tuesday and the shoulder feels a little more stable. Rolling with the foam roller & a laundry ball, using a ruler to work out the kinks in my neck (was not totally kidding about my head being ripped off).
Next appointment is Monday. Hopefully a little PT wil take care of things. :)
