Busy day (for me)

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

I can't tell you how many times I started out to do this and never got there, so today I walked in to haircuttery and sat there till they could take me...and I walked out better than I've looked in a long time. (I asked the hairdresser if she could weight what she cut off...maybe a pound??) She just laughed and said "everyone says that"! When I was done I went grocery shopping...that ended the afternoon on a "high" note! Somehow, no matter how much I spend and how many bags I have to bring into the house, it still takes me an hour and a half to walk around the store.

Came home, put everything away, except for the barbecued chicken. I cut that up and had a few choice pieces for dinner.

Now I'm just sitting with my legs up resting my poor tired, swollen ankles. Enjoy the rest of your night!!

Nothing like a fresh hairdo to freshen life.

Glad you had such a fun day. I went blonde in June 1999 and still colour my hair.

I've worn it short for a lifetime (or at least it seems that way). I've allowed it to grey naturally, stopped coloring it when my sister died of cancer. She had gone blonde when she was 16...died when she was 46.

It's always been wavy and quite heavy...has a mind of its own. When I let it grow for a couple of months it looks lousy...just goes wherever it wants. So, I just went it and let the gal use her imagination...just don't leave anything on my neck or over my ears.

Nothing fancy or even worth looking at.

I had long hair when I was a kid and until I got tired of trying to keep up with it and three kidlets. emoticon

Elaine, how long was your hear???? I've been debating about having my hair cut - it's been down to my butt for years but I wear it up. It's so easy to take care of that I'm afraid to have it cut and that I'll have to spend too much time with it.

    Rest those tired feet!!!!

    hugs....Mary Anne
