December Rewards & January Goals

Wednesday, January 09, 2013

I'm not going to rehash the details of my december goals , but I earned ~ $93 worth of goodies for myself with all my various goals. I ordered a rebounder (mini-tampoline) and a hair crimper/straightener from Amazon. I think my main takeaways from December are:
1. Blog more to solidify in my mind all the other things I'm gaining from this lifestyle change as well as problem solve things that aren't working for me.
2. Sleep! I need to continually make an effort to get enough, even n the weekends.
3. Fruits and veggies are my friends, I need to eat more of them.

January Goals:
1. 25 workouts in January.
2. Weigh every Saturday, measure at beginning and end of January.
3. Hit level 14 in sparkpoints (2500 points to go), which means I have to average ~115 points per day.
4. Get at least 7 hours of sleep everyday, get 8 hours at least 4x/week.
5. No booze in January!

If I hit ALL of these i'll give myself a $50 budget for any fun reward I want. (shoes, amazon, who knows)

Guess who HASN'T laid out any solid goals this month... If you guessed me, you're RIGHT! No wonder I haven't been motivated to do JACK!

I considered the no booze in January thing but OOPS! Didn't do it. :)

I think it's a really good idea to do rewards for more than weight loss. I did make a list of weight loss rewards the other day, hoping it'd kick my butt back into gear. I also made a paperclip chain, each paperclip represents a pound I want to lose... but I haven't been making much effort so far this month. I'm relieved that all that's happened is maintenance and I haven't had to add a paperclip to the chain.

Now that I've talked about myself a bunch, you're welcome, I want to wish you well in reaching all of your goals for the month! You can do eeeeet!
