As my paleo experiment comes to an end (on friday) I reflect on what I have learned. I feel that reading a great deal and experiencing paleo type foods have made me more aware and thoughtful of what I put in my body. I have been low carb for a very long time (many years) due to some minor health issues. Eating low carb def is the way to stay in a healthy weight range for me. I find it easy and enjoyable. I do not feel denied, I feel empowered. I wanted to learn more about paleo for quite a while, so I am glad I did!
That being said, I don't think paleo is something I can do long term. However, I have decided to eat far FAR less processed foods (even if they are low carb - ie bars and shake mixes). I will (after Friday) continue to eat healthy low carb foods - whole foods - yummy foods!
I am still recovering from flu/sinus infection. It's been about a week and half. I am def on my way to getting better. Yay.
