Woe is Me

I am in a really bad mood right now. Not sure why exactly, but something has brought on a little pity party.
So let's start with some good things:
- Walked to and from work today. Step count is currently at 12,100, and I got in my 10 flights of stairs. I also started doing the potty squats, as suggested by the brilliant BOGUSANNIE. I didn't remember every time I went, so only did 20 today.
- Stuck with my food plan all day. I had one of those super hungry days, so that was a small miracle. Came home from work and made chili, as planned. Also went grocery shopping and made more guacamole because I was out.
But man, am I ever in a bad mood. I'm having one of those days where I feel like I get zero time to myself. Since I've been home from work I've made dinner, taken the kids to their karate classes, got groceries, put away groceries, made guacamole, made the kids lunches (which they usually do themselves, but I figured I would do it since they don't have a lot time after karate), unloaded the dishwasher, reloaded the dishwasher, washed a bunch of pots and pans, laid out my clothes for tomorrow and prepped my lunch for tomorrow. Oh and cleaned up two big piles of cat puke.
The trip to the grocery store seemed to set off cravings for everything and anything. My daughter is having her time of the month, so perhaps I'm absorbing her PMS or something.
I'd like to sit down and watch a few episodes of An Idiot Abroad season 3 that my boyfriend downloaded, but I'm not sure I'll be able to stay awake. And I feel like my ear is blocked. So I hope that doesn't mean I'm getting sick.
So, thanks for listening/reading and letting me vent. I do feel a little better now, having taken some time for me.
Today's food tracking:
Breakfast -- protein shake made with almond milk, 3 scoops of ViShake, 1 tablespoon peanut butter
First Lunch -- burrito bowl with chicken, black beans, corn, salsa and guacamole
Second Lunch -- same as above, plus leftover green and yellow beans sauteed with onions and garlic
Dinner -- chili made with onions, garlic, peppers, lean ground beef, tomatoes, tomato sauce and white kidney beans
I may have a snack of some popcorn. Technically, corn and popcorn are not on the slow carb diet, since they are grains. It's a little confusing because Tim Ferriss recommends black bean and corn salsa. Anyway, I think I may have some popcorn anyway. If my results aren't as good as I think they should be, I'll cut the popcorn back to once a week. Not that I eat all that much popcorn, unless I go to the movie theatre. I should really boil some eggs too. Hard boiled eggs make a convenient snack.
See you tomorrow Sparkers. Maybe even with another vlog!
