My new to me, but oldie, DVDs arrived. I got Classic 'Kathy Smith 'Strong Sleek & Slim' which has 3 workouts. I had two of them on VHS, but I wanted to be sure I bought them on DVD before DVDs stop being available. With the proliferation of 'downloads' I imagine that the DVD will go the way of the VHS. SSS (Strong, sleek, & slim) includes 'Weight Loss Workout' which is a fun cheesy workout with some weight work emoticon and hi/lo cardio. I use it a lot because its not too intense, I'm still getting my strength back from having been sick. The second workout on that disc is 'Ultimate Video Workout' which is also a combination of cardio / emoticon strength training. I think this is the earliest Kathy Smith workout that I have. She was so young! The third workout on this disc is 'Ultimate Stomach & Thighs'. The other disc I bought was her 'Timesaver Cardio' which is a replacement for the one that I lost. I use that hi/lo workout all the time. Its one of my favorites. The third DVD that I bought is 10 Minute Solution Dance emoticon Belly Fat with Petra Kolber. I love Petra, I like her style. I especially like the Dancer's Silhouette segment. Its very fluid and elegant. emoticon

All of that said, its sunny emoticon outside, so I might go for a emoticon hike. Yesterday's workout was postponed because I felt ill. I had some GI distress and felt really sick last night. I'm feeling better now. I don't know what that was all about. My Dad said that people at work have been sick too, so maybe this is a yuck that is going around.

My weight is down a pound. I plan to keep going emoticon in that direction.

I saw 'Seattle58s' post 'Getting to know me' I always find these kinds of things to be fun. So here are my answers to the questions:

Where is my cel phone? Plugged in to charge (next to me)

Spouse? No, single, never married, never met the right one.

Your hair? shoulder length, warm chocolate brown.

Your Mother? Mom is doing well, she is looking forward to retiring from work this summer.

Your father? Dad is fine, he doesn't like living away from home, but he had to take a job in LA because construction is slow here. He misses us a lot, he calls everyday.

Your favorite thing? I don't know right now. I really like to emoticon nread, paint (watercolor emoticon ), and go on floral photography emoticon shoots with friends.

Your dream last night? I had a nightmare about my friend's emoticon x-boyfriend, he was pestering her again. I hate that guy. I hope that he just goes somewhere else.

Favorite drink? Hot chocolate or emoticon hot green tea (decaf) with lemon and honey.

What room are you in? My bedroom. I have a day bed that I sit on when I'm working on the computer.

Your hobbies? See 'your favorite thing' I also like to play piano and the violin. I haven't been playing much. I need to find a piano tuner and my violin needs some work.

Your fear? That I will never get a job again, that I will be homeless, all of my Mother's beautiful things will be destroyed, my brother will die on the street, and I won't be able to stop any of it because I don't have a good work history for the last 5 years, I am ill a lot, and the most I could hope for is an office job at the state, and I don't even have a car that is reliable to get to work.

Where do you want to be in 6 years? I want to be naturally slender, have a good part time job, have my personal finances squared away, possibly live in town close to work or have the job be close to home, and have repaired my car.

Where were you last night? Sick, in bed, cared for by my mother. The flu is going around.

Something that you aren't? Vegetarian.

Muffins? Carrot/raisin. That reminds me, I have a coupon for Mimi's.

Wish list item? Little: Jillian's Body Revolution; Big: fix the plumbing in my Parent's bathroom so that they won't be using mine anymore. I hate listening to people use the toilet, but the bathroom shares a wall and air vent with my bedroom emoticon

Last thing you did? Ate my sushi for breakfast. I love sushi.

What are you wearing? Bathrobe. Why you ask?

Your pets? Maria the emoticon Cat. She is a emoticon Maine Coone/Norwegian mix. We rescued her. We love her very much. She is soft, furry, and loving. She had a hard year because she has a genetic problem with her teeth. She only has her canines left. I love her very much.

Friends? I have 3 good friends in my Harry Potter bookclub. We try to see each other often.

Your life? Life is both easy and scary. I live with my folks. Money is really tight. My brother is not able to work. I would work if I could find work. My Dad is working. My Mom is working until this summer. My Dad is training me to do ADA inspections. I am also going to start looking into state jobs and other kinds of office education. I am working on losing 80 pounds. I have had a terrible health scare with a bacterial infection. That whole debacle put on 20 pounds in less than 2 months on my body. I'm trying to bounce back from that. I do a lot of work for my parent's business.

Your mood? Kind, gentle, exacting, judgemental, and directly tied to how much sunlight there is. Too little sun= depressed. bleh.

Missing someone? Nope.

Drinking? Only water, tea, or occasionally hot chocolate. No alcohol.

Your car? 1997 white t-bird. Suspension almost shot, needs a lot of work, but I'm attached. Its the first car I ever had and she has done well by me. I hate to send her to the junk yard.

Something you're not wearing? Suits.

Your favorite store? Sanrio.

Your favorite color? Bright raspberry red.

When is the last time you cried? Last night, I was sick.

Favorite place to eat? Crepeville.

Favorite place I'd like to be right now? Disneyworld. I haven't been in a long time. I haven't seen the new attractions with Cars.
