I'm not much of a blogger but I thought I'd give it a try. I was sitting and thinking of a better way to more effectively hold myself accountable for my weight loss progress or lack there of. So I thought a blog may help me. I like many have started and not completed the latest diet or weight loss plan over the past few years. I actually joined SparkPeople 2 years ago and just couldn't keep up with things. With family, work and school I may have been a bit overwhelmed. Now I'm finally fed up! I really want to get fit enough to run a half marathon. I really want to run a marathon but I figure I'll need to try a half first.

I've decided to detox my body, mind, and home and really clean things out a bit. I'm on day two and its going..... okay. My hubby started out with me but the restrictions are too much for him right now. So he's going to try a modified version and support me as I complete the full 15 days. I hope things go well.

    this is also a great place to vent or write things that you change,, like a new food you ate or time on fitness.. baby steps can be put here too. We are all here to help each other, as well as ourselves,, blogging can give you encouragement too.. LIKE NOW...LOL!
