Going all Out – Day 1 Finished

I have made a pledge to myself to burn 1000 calories a day for seven days. I started this challenge on Monday. Well, I’m happy to report that by my calculations I burned 1647 calories through exercise which consisted of weight training, stationary bike, and basketball. I actually rode the stationary bike three times yesterday:

5:30am for 30 minutes
1:00pm for 30 minutes
6:30pm for 20 minutes

I played basketball for 20 minutes and completed my weight lifting routine in 30 minutes. I probably burned more than 1647 calories; but I’m happy with that result. I a bit behind schedule this morning so I had to cut 10 minutes off my morning ride spent 20 minutes on the bike. I tried to make up for the loss time by adding intensity to the ride. I will be back at the gym on my lunch break for another workout and then again after work to finish things up for the evening. I’m hoping I can maintain this regiment for 7 days combined with clean eating. My Deputy Director ask me today; how much weight have you loss; boy did that make me feel good; my motivation is truly through the roof right now. Wish me luck, I’ll keep you posted
