catching up my missed days

It was a fairly uneventful weekend, except that I got sick.

Saturday morning I woke late because someone (cough hubby cough) turned off my cell phone and therefore my alarm didn't go off. I rushed out the door late with my son to get to his MRI appointment. Spent 2 1/2 hours there waiting on that, and even though I didn't do anything, I left there feeling exhausted. Got home and had zero energy so I spent the rest of the day in bed doing needlework watching movies. I guess it was a sign of things to come.

Sunday I went to church, and started feeling bad on the drive there. Sang in the first service and went to sunday school, where I started feeling worse. By the time I was in the choir loft for the last service I was doing good to just stand there. Started feeling dizzy and lightheaded. Got done with choir and made my way to the sanctuary. About 10 minutes later I put my head down to combat the dizzyness so hubby walked me out and into the crying room where I could lay down on the pew and not be disruptive. He brought the car around and I made it to the car but between dizzyness and upset stomach I didn't feel too hot. We went to lunch and I stayed in the car and laid down. Took a short nap and felt a little better but it was shortlived. By the time we got back to church for the evening service I felt awful, but hubby had to be there to work and the kids have their classes so I went to deliver my youngest to his class and as soon as I got up from the chair I knew the few crackers I had nibbled were not going to stay down, so I rushed to the restroom just in time, but rushing like I did only made matters worse, so I got cleaned up slowly, and made my way back to the car where I laid down again with some blankets and slept until church was out.

Took a hot bath when I got home and went to bed. Still feeling a bit lightheaded when I'm standing but as long as I'm sitting down I feel ok, so thats where I've been most of the day. At least I'm being productive, started my taxes, set up the household budget for the year, got some paperwork filed, and I'm about to clip all the coupons from yesterday and get them filed while the kids are doing schoolwork. Most of their lessons are self-guided so I don't have to do alot aside from explain things here and there, so thats a good thing today.

I'm keeping food down today which is nice since I only kept down a few bites of rice last night.

My advocare order should arrive today and I'm hoping to feel better so I can start my 24 day challenge tomorrow.
