Need tips for basic arm workouts

I am taking up a poll on people who have found arm workouts that burn fat and strengthen the muscle and are easy to do anywhere. no machines required.

First hand experience only.

My arms are bad, I cant stand it any more, so I am starting to find some workouts for them to get started. I hope to see results as I make progress. Please share any info if you come across this blog.

    Arms aren't a big enough muscle to really burn a lot of fat. You would need to do arms and legs at the same time. Also, you can't "spot reduce" fat off any particular body part. The fat will come off where ever your body decides. You can do sit ups all day but the fat won't necessarily come off your stomach. emoticon
    Check the HealthyLifestyle section of Spark, look for fitness videos for ideas on workouts for your arms. You'll want to do something for biceps and triceps.
    I know push ups work lots of muscles including arms and shoulders. They are a great overall exercise and if you do them every day you will find that you can do one or two more every week or two...which is pretty fast results even if you are doing them on your knees. You can always do as many push ups as you can after each workout, it only takes a minute!
