Plateau ... Refocusing on the Positive

I know Im experiencing one ... I know all the things to bust through one ... I can think and think and think about it but its not going to change anything. I hate not having control over this! So.... instead Im going list 10 things going right ...

10. Im doing C25K!
9. C25K gets easier every day!
8. My Week 1 Day 3 average time is 15:30 min/miles ... while my brain cant figure out if thats good its better than the 17 min/miles I started with on Week 1 Day 1
7. I can do a 1 minute plank easily!
6. My feet hurt wayyyy less. In fact they dont often hurt anymore.
5. Im handing stress (and theres a lot of it) a lot better than I normally would.
4. Im sleeping better.
3. I can fit into (zipped but TIGHT) misses size 16 .... not 16w or 16 plus ... MISSES
2. People are starting to notice ... and comment ... and be jealous
1. Im still at this 'despite' the plateau. I havent given up ... I just keep going ... Amazing!

    Congrats on your running -- you are inspiring me to go run this afternoon to complement my swimming this morning!!!!

    Keep on staying positive and trust that you are doing a great job even if the scale isn't moving right now. You can push through this!

    Thanks everyone! I love blogging ... sending all the negative out and feelign all the positive back flow from all you lovely ladies makes it all soooo much easier :)

    Wish- Me too (#2) I love that peopel get a bit jealous of my progress! haha I hate to say it but it feels good to knwo that Im doing something sooo good its worthy of envy ... that being said I try to encourage people to check out SP. Actually today at Panera Bread I was sitting with my middle son having smoe lunch and the ladies next to me were talkign about loosng some weight and I said ... "Oh let me tell you about Spark People!"

    Plateaus are horrid. I hate them. They make me doubt everything I've done, everything I'm still doing. I HATE working hard and seeing no progress.

    However, looks like you've got a lot of progress to look at. A size 16 is emoticon ! Less pain is emoticon ! Doing a full minute-long plank is FREAKING emoticon !

    Keep at it. You *know* this will pass. And you *know* that when you come out the other side, you're gonna be that much closer to a sexy new pair of size 14s!

    I love number 2 also! LOL

    My weight loss is slowing a bit too- but I am refocusing and what I am doing is when I wake up, I make a committment to eating well and getting more active- even if it's just for that day, I don't get overwhelmed thinking about the rest of the week or month.

    Then that day, I stay within my calorie range and get at least 10 minutes of fitness that day.

    The next day when I wake up, I promise myself the same thing,and then 7 days later I see results!
    I definitely drink about 10 glasses of water and eat more veggies- it flushes out fat and toxins!

    #3 - I remember that feeling!!!! To not buy a W felt great! I have a few 14s now and it feels great! Keep up the amazing work and remember how strong you are getting and what a difference that makes!
