Another New Year and..

I'm making New Year's Resolutions once again. I lost 30 lbs. during 2012, only to gain back 10 to 15 of it. I MUST learn to get on the program but more importantly to STAY on the program. This is difficult for me to do because I'm surrounded by people who only diet during the week and then they go off every weekend and still they lose weight. Unfortunately, I can't do that.
I've always thought that food was an addiction and if I get off program,it is very difficult for me to get back on. So in that respect, I suppose it IS an addiction and I need to respect that.
My goal for this year is to lose 1 lb. a week. But also to exercise more and by exercise, I just mean move. I'm starting with the hip pain issues and this cold (for Texas) weather isn't helping any. And I do know that movement will help that quite a bit.
Let's see how I'm doing in a month.
