Day 13: Steady as she goes...

Well, it's now been two weeks (approximately) since I made the decision to achieve something with respect to may weight loss desires, and a bit less than that where I have made an effort in all areas to actually take it off and keep it off. Thus far, I've managed to lose 17 pounds.

More than anything, I think the success so far has been due more to portion control, as the opportunity for exercise has been hit and miss due to work, and then injuring my back while trying not to fall on ice. In spite of the set backs, I still dropped the weight.

If I am having any real issues with my diet it is more to the extent of trying to hit the recommended caloric intake. More often than not, I find myself falling short in that respect; at times it feels like I almost have to gorge myself in order to hit what is recommmended (in my case, a minimum number of2300). I truly have to wonder if others on here have run into that issue.

All I know at this point, is considering what the last couple weeks have brought (in all areas of my life), I am interested in seeing what the next weeks will bring....
