January second was not bad...probably just as easy as the first because I was back to work and back in a routine! That always helps.
I did great tracking my food, getting the right kinds of foods in, etc. I also got to Zumba again!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!
That night we had ez calzones - a sparkrecipe...super yummy and the kids loved that they got to help make them! In the middle of supper I got a call from my husband (via a teammates phone) that his wallet and phone had been stolen. I left the supper table and immediately started calling to cancel credit/debit cards, etc. Our middle son brought me my plate and said, 'here mom, you need to eat.' He is so sweet!!
Thursday was a great day too. Stayed in my calories, remembered what it felt like to care again...LOVE THAT!! Didn't get to the gym so I started doing flights of stairs in the house. My daughter joined in and my total was 30 flights...my legs were like rubber!!
Everyday I have been doing crunches and then alternating leg and arm workouts in the mornings...small ones, 5-10 minutes, noting fancy-adapted push ups, leg lifts, etc...something to get my heart pumping and get some muscles used!
Thursday night we watched a movie together and I got to eat one of my newest favorite snacks...a tbs of peanut butter mixed with a tbs of mini chocolate chips...so rich and so yummy!!
Our daughter measured me that night so I have a starting place for measurements too! YAY!! :)
I was nervous for Friday's weigh in...I just wanted to lose something...anything, just have a loss. I did lose...4.6 lbs!! Yeah, my body reacts rather quickly when I start over...it's the next few weeks/pounds that are going to be hard, but I can do it!!
I took Friday off from exercise. I just did the morning stuff. I also splurged on some chips and cheese dip with my hubby while watching "House"...I probably went a bit over on my nutrition and I probably will be in my high range today (we get to go out to an early supper with some friends) but I have to remember that I need to eat in that range, not always at the very bottom of it.
My husband and I did get up and go to the gym this morning...together!! I was super excited he said he would go with me...no hesitation even! So we did...hit the eliptical and burned over 300 calories! YAY!
Now, I"m going to go get ready for supper and try and warm up...I really do miss the warm weather!!
