I didn't know it but today they had a triathlon in our town. Not that I would have wanted to enter, but unfortunately parts of the race track was on the bike path where we usually go bike riding/roller bladeing as a family. Meaning, husband rides my bike with 2 year old on the back (bike seat doesn't fit on his bike), 4 year old offspring rides his own bike and mum roller blades pushing 4 year old if needed (gives you a great work out to push a 4 year old on his bike up a hill while roller bladeing). Yet today due to the triathlon we couldn't really do it... you really don't want to risk a 4 year old accidentally running over a triathlon runner. I went roller bladeing without my boys, they went straight to the beach. It felt extremely strange cruising past you know... really athletes... or at least real fit people... I feel like a fake fit person... you know, not quite there yet.. being fit... just pretending to. I know that isn't true... I'm fitter than others and I am getting better, yet I always feel a bit.. uhm.. self-conscious when exercising. Anyways, I'm brabbling...
I had this really great idea today. You know, I like Harry Potter (shocking, I know.. I'm 32) and I also like the audiobooks. Unfortunately they are FLIPPING expensive. But you see, my little grey cell started thinking today. How about I save 10$ for every kilo I loose... 1$ for every 100g. And when I "saved" enough money (aka lost the right amount of weight), I can reward myself with buying the audiobook with that money. Isn't that a brilliant idea?? And the good thing is that I "earned" my first 16 bucks already, crikey!!!! YAY!!! If they weight goes up though, dollars get taken out as well again. Great idea. At least I think so!!!
And again, today I made really wise food choices. It will be a bit hard to track them all, there were so many new recipes which I have to calculate first and stuff but I ate well and healthy, YAY!!!
