Sometimes we struggle

I am at a low point. Can't point my finger at why except my thoughts keep to trying to tell me how terrible I am. I tell myself not to think that way. I pray to see what good I am. And I keep pushing. Can pull my thoughts together enough to even put a reason why.

    Here is my list of things to pick me up:
    Call a friend who I know is ALWAYS up
    Take a walk, just a stroll to breathe
    Go to the beach if close...that wide expanse of ocean always makes me feel powerful and my issues seem small
    I drown the bully in my head with a bottle of Vitamin Water Zero
    Read a book, just to get out of my head....

    I hope one or two of these appeals to you. You are definitely worth the effort. I wish you peace and a lovely day.

    Sending good thoughts your way--it seems like a lot of folks are in the same boat now. Maybe it's the winter (at least in the US) or the after holidays let-down. Hope you feel better quite soon! We're here for you! emoticon

    Praying that you are able to find that place inside that reminds you of how wonderful you truly are. Not who the world thinks you are, who you think you are but who the Father says you are. emoticon

    That's when you call up your best friend and tell them what's going on. They'll pick you up. I have those thoughts as well.

    Feelings like that do come and go (thank heavens they go) -- but while you are in that slump it is all too real. You need to get together with some friends, or go out and get a haircut or a new outfit. Take a long bubble bath while you read, or light a candle in the bathtub and just meditate for 30 minutes or so. Don't forget to have some nice soothing music on during this time. You need ME time!

    I hate when your "thoughts" highjack your brain and you get into a vicious cycle of negativity. When I get like that....and we all have been there, I watch old movies with simple little stories that always have a good ending. It helps get the mind off of the negativity.

    aww, hun that was me a week ago. It a terrible feeling. You are cared about and the voices in your head are bully's it sounds simple but laughing helped a lot. My go to site is funny cat pictures (if your a dog person there is a dog one too) or epic fails. Posting here or personal journals is a big assist. I also started D3 (check w/Dr). emoticon emoticon
