Simple Diet Journal #32 -- Make and Bake but don't Take the Chocolate Cake

Writing this to get myself fully ready and revved for the weekend challenge ahead of me.
On Sunday, my family has a big gathering for a birthday. I'm going to make a very special, very big, and very chocolate cake -- which will be fun and creative (one of my BLC 21 goals) -- but I don't think I have to elaborate on how that'll be a challenge.
So, tonight, as I get myself prepared to bake but not sample, sample, sample -- I decided to put it out there as a way to keep myself accountable. I've really been on a roll and I hate to have to divert at all when it's been such a strong season -- and knowing that I'll also need to make smart eating choices on Sunday at the actual event -- I just don't want to sacrifice 2 days that could take me 2 weeks to rectify (may not be quite like that -- but somehow it always feels so much easier and faster for pounds to go on then come off).
Writing here is a form of reinforcing my vision, my focus, determination, and my willpower -- among many other things. Tonight I write again for all those and cheer:
