I'm so sorry for your loss. A dog is part of the family, our Chloe is such a part of our family. Sending hugs and prayers to you and your family.

Sorry for the loss of your dog. It is difficult to lose a pet that is part of the family. We have a Sheltie, almost 14 and she is really starting to fail, we know that it is very possible we will need to put her down if she gets any worse and not looking forward to having to do it. We haavr gone through this with our other Sheltie who lived to be 19. It will get easier and you will get back on track emoticon

I'm sorry. That is always hard to deal with, pets are family. I got a dog with special needs over Christmas break. The staff and foster was less than honest about how involved he is but I know she would have been put down and I am praying I can make a difference and turn her around. I had this breed dog before so I know personality-wise they are more than most people want to deal with but it is also what makes them enjoyable too. Take care.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have a 12 ear old Chihuahua with Congestive Heart Failure too. We were told she would probably die within the year... that was 15 months ago and she is still with us. She is on a lot of medication, but she just seems to have a strong will to live! I do know when she dies though, I also will be very sad because she has been like a child to me over the past 12 years, and we love her so much! I pray that you will be able to get back on track soon, and maybe even get a New Puppy to love! emoticon
