When Thursday feels like Monday the week ends quickly

Thursday, January 03, 2013

This morning, I got out the door on time, got through traffic and into work on time. Today I started the proofing position. Or, rather, I am testing the position to see if it will fit for me. I will be at the computer a bit, but I will be listening to audio books (something I love to do.) and checking for narrator errors. It was rather fun, although I know like all new things, there will be a honeymoon period. I walked around all day with a grin. That is how happy I was to be doing this. I truly am looking forward to this adventure.
I even did 13 minutes of early morning stretching and weights this morning before I got up. This morning it helped me. I also walked a mile at work. I brought my lunch, homemade ministrone soup, and said no to cake, no to donuts, and opted to have a few almonds instead. My afternoon snack - a rice cake with nutella. Breakfast - 2 "poked" eggs with multigrain toast, half a cup of coffee, half a cup of OJ. Supper? Not sure. Soup?
Tomorrow is Friday - imagine that. And that will end a very short work week.

Yes, Linda, there is a hard copy to follow, and if necessary the narrator re-records the errors.

emoticon A great day! I didn`t know they `proofread`audio books. If errors are found are they sent back to the narrator to be recorded again and how do you know if there is an error -is there a hard copy for you to follow along to as well, this sounds interesting.
    Keep up the great work!

WOW emoticon Sounds like you are enjoying this new "job" and hope it is what you are looking for. It is great you were able to avoid temptation. My new vice is an orange-I am craving them and since they are so good with vit C and fiber, I give in and eat one daily! Better that than chocolate!!!
