Fruits and Veggies

Thursday, January 03, 2013

So, to be honest I don't know where I've been. Sulking likely. The holidays flew past without any memorable moments which to me is a good thing.

No resolution really...I'm not big into that. I am however seriously trying to eat one serving of fruit or veggie at each meal. I figure start small and go from there. I'm struggling with it. Like an apple I've had on my desk for a week that I bit into today and it was rotten. Awesome. Such is life.

Hmmm, well I'm going home at the end of the month to take care of my Mom while she has her knee replaced so that's about all my big news. Think I'll take my tree down this weekend as well. And I might go see a movie tonight for the first time in forever. Tons of fun. Here's to a new year! (or at least a new Thursday).

Starting small is always good. Are there any fruits or veggies that you just love? If so, buy those and eat them. Apples are just ok to me but blueberries and bananas and broccoli I love! Eat what you love is my motto.
You could also try adding a smoothie as a snack and that might make it easier to get some fruits and even veggies in. I adore green smoothies.
Your Ma is lucky to have such a great daughter to take care of her.
Did you ever see a movie? I haven't been to the movies in forever either.

Here's to your serving of freggies with meals!

Good idea with the freggie at every meal. That's something I need to do, also.

I usually start off well, a banana and some orange juice for breakfast, but lately that seems to be all I get... Must start to have some freggies for lunch and supper, too.
