You have no power over me! *shakes fist*

Thursday, January 03, 2013

Last night I totally resisted the sweet seductive siren song of a pack of mini reeses peanut butter cups nestled in my kitchen cabinet.

It was calling.

Luring me.

I gritted my teeth and knuckled down and fought and fought.

I was victorious, I resisted.

I feel like I should have had a 10 pound drop on the scale today just on principle.

Ooh, a 10lb principle drop...if only that would work. hehe

Wow. I don't think I could do that if they were in the house! That's one of the few 'normal' things I can get away with eating (and will eat more than a mini pack if they're around).

    Good on yer!

I have heard a similar siren song. Last night it was fresh cookies from my friend's oven. SO TEMPTING, but I resisted the call.

CONGRATS! I agree on the losing weight on principle, but sadly that's not how it works. We can just reward ourselves (not with food) for our NSV.

PS: Not sure if it was intentionally, but I love the Labyrinth nod as your subject line.
