My monthly goals and 25 before 25 list!

The other day I was inspired by a fellow Sparker's (CARYNV07) goals for 2013. Instead of focusing on reaching a monthly goal weight like I have in the past, this year I'm doing monthly challenges; a different focus for each month. I couldn't think of themes for Sept.-Dec. please leave suggestions if you have any.

Here we go 2013!!
January: complete January Jumpstart Challenge
February: BL take a progress photo every Wednesday
March: plan and cook a healthy meal everyday
April: 30 day workout dvd challenge (like 30 day shred)
May: couch to 5 K
June: make one green smoothie everyday
July: hike and bike
August: deep clean and de-clutter (maybe even have a yard sale)

A list of 25 things I want to acomplish before I turn 25.
1. Reach my goal weight
2. Complete a 5K
3. Complete a sprint triathlon
4. Run a mile in under 10 minutes
5. Learn Spanish (Test will be being able to have a conversation with Carlos’ mom without help)
6. Hike a mountain trail
7. Go sky diving
8. Learn how to salsa
9. Teach Carlos how to swim
10. Swim one continuous mile
11. Go white water rafting
12. Cook 25 healthy recipes
13. Try 10 green smoothies
14. Compile a collection of healthy recipes
15. Learn to cook some of Carlos’ favorite foods
16. Go to a comedy show
17. Go see a Cirque Du Soleil show
18. Make a birthday cake for someone
19. Do a real push up
20. Complete the 30 day shred (or 30 workout videos) in 30 days
21. Spend 24 hours media-free (no phone, computer, tv)
22. Take a trip with Carlos (even if just for a weekend)
23. Learn how to surf
24. Get engaged (I realize I have no control over this, but I still want it to happen)
25. Move out

18 months to cross off 25 goals. I think it's going to be a lot of fun.
