New Year new me?

So here I find myself at the beginning of the new year reading all the resolutions that people make. I resolve not to make a resolution. Each year I do, and each year I fail. I want so badly to be thin and healthy. I find it harder and harder to find clothes and do that things that fit people do. Today is the last day of my vacation. I want to develop a schedule and habits that will help me. I don't know how to do this. I have all the tools: exercise videos, food guides, healthy drink mixes, etc. What I don't have is support. I will be on the hunt for someone to buddy up with and hold me accountable. Here's to finding a system that works and developing the habits that I need to succeed! I am 3 days away from turning 35 and I need to make "35" my 25, because the last decade has been lost to bad habits. Tomorrow I will weigh myself for the first time in months and take measurements and begin a journey...I hope...

    A little about me -- I am 34 years old and live with my husband and 11-month-old son in Los Angeles. I am lucky that my family is very supportive of my weight loss goals! But I know what it is like to have family members who are not supportive too.
