Going To Be A Good Year

Tuesday, January 01, 2013

Looking forward to a good new year. We need to erase the past and start new.

Should have a new granddaughter within the next week. Looking forward to that. My other 4 grandchildren are living 4 hrs away. My daughter-in-law moved them away right after my son passed away. I never get to see them and in the winter months the pass is icy or snowy.

This new little girl is living 3 blocks away. My daughter is looking forward to my help. She has always been career oriented and not a real homebody. She has done really well with the pregnancy even tho she has had some problems.

I guess I seem a little obsessed. So looking forward to this year.

It's understandable about the obsession - you naturally are concerned about the birth. Soon the new baby will be here and you can think more about achieving your own goals, until then perhaps take it easy and congratulations on the new grandbaby!! you only deserve really good things. Proud of you and Happy New Year!!

I hope everything goes wonderfully for your daughter and the baby and you!

I know when my niece moved across country a few years ago my sister used Skype a lot to stay in touch. It was a real blessing for her to be able to check in every few days and keep up on what her daughter was doing.
